The valley of the river Sacco, a flourishing industrial region that benefited since the post-war period of the aid of the Marshall Plan, now for several years now lives in the shadow of de-industrialization. On the field the ruins of a development that was not sustainable at all, together with the stories of those who gave their lives for that dream of emancipation from the memory of the war. And perhaps the desire for redemption. Like that of Letizia who opens family albums and lets hidden truths leak out. An invisible repressed of collective memory.
