In Sicily, in the land of "transformed areas" in the province of Ragusa, vast amounts of vegetables are grown in plastic greenhouses all year round. This is an unusual place, far from the stereotypical standard of Mediterranean beauty, which inscribes the rest of the island. It is a necessary space, which imposes itself on the terrain. My project investigates how these landscapes are marked and modified by the human activity.
