"Mattoni spars" is a photographic project that focuses on the relationship between nature and architecture. Ten years after the creation of "Home", my photographic documentation of abandoned farmhouses in the Emilian countryside, the last witnesses of the peasant civilization of the 1900s, I wanted to further deepen the analysis of the Emilian landscape by photographing the action of nature on the same houses. A slow, harmonious and melancholy action which in a soft embrace re-appropriates everything.
