Orbite is a project based on the concept of walking as a artistic process and a way to build landscape.
We are two photographers and walking is our main subject. We usually walk on the cities suburbs and react to the environment, documenting it.
This project is inspired by an utopic project from an italian architect to create the biggest European urban park. The idea is to connect all green areas around the city of Milan.
Milan is a flat city and its suburbs are geographically integrated to the city center. It is where the city is growing to and where it changes the most.
For this project we met before dawn at the far east side of the town. Rafa Jacinto walked the north hemisphere and Davide Mari the south one, meeting each other 12 hours later on the west side.
