The portfolio La Transversale, which I am submitting for Urbanautica Institute Awards 2023
is the photographic account of a correspondence begun
in childhood, back in 1990;
the story of a country, Romania,
the story of an escape to oneself,
a shift beyond borders.
Exchanges, questions, affinities
without actually meeting each other.
Multiple escapes, as many round trips;
three chapters
An ordinary world of grace,
Enchantment through trial,
To be complete from now on
for a corpus of 90 documents (photographs, letters, postcards...)
After a long sedimentation,
it's time for me to share my images,
to give life to this achievement,
to defend La transversale
